THALASSERY MUTTA (EGG) PATHIRI RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

  • Egg - 2 nos.
  • All purpose flour/ Maida - 2 cups
  • Water - 1 1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste - 1 pinch

PREPARATION METHOD


Take a bowl and beat the eggs fine with a spoon and mix with maida.

Slowly add required water and add salt to make the mixture.

Heat a claypot (manchatti). Pour some mixture in the center of the claypot and spread the batter with the back of a spoon to make it thin round shape.

Keep it covered with a lid and cook in low flame for about 8 minutes.

After 8 minutes, take out the muttapathiri/muttayappam out with a spoon.


The Delicious , Spicy and Tasty Thalassery Muttapathiri is ready.... To be served with Coconut Milk or Chicken Curry or Mutton Curry.
